Had to rewatch this before my mubi free trial ends. Hits harder on second watch just so many beautiful, strong performances and amazing character arcs and all built on such an incredible narrative with lots of emotion. I really can’t get over the characters and I really appreciate Agnes as an overall character more during the second watch shes the character that’s trying to keep the family alive and understands both sides. I love the representations throughout so strong especially the symbolism of the house as a whole. And possibly the greatest needle drop of all time.
