Scream
this movie was even better the second time around. the cast was great for the new set of characters that were brought, and i’m glad the focus is shifting from sidney, gale, dewey (rip). they are great legacy characters, but cmon. nobody is gonna survive this shit that many times.. give them a break pls. the new characters were also all fairly good, i just wish liv got more! ENJOY YOUR STUPID MOVIE. wes hicks will forever be missed by me, dylan minnette is my boy. this watch made me appreciate sam a lot more, as i actually enjoyed her this time. same goes for amber. i thought they were both annoying when i first saw the movie, but something about this watch made me like them both way more. amber is also a really iconic ghostface with hilarious quotes throughout the movie, especially within the final act. EEK EEK. the motive for this movie was also pretty cool bc it’s so unserious that it’s good for the film? also dewey dying like that and gale’s slow motion scene when she arrived at the hospital almost had me sobbing. this movie is definitely rewatch material and there’s so many good things about it. i can’t even think of a complaint really. YOU CAN’T HAVE A BONAFIDE HALLOWEEN WITHOUT JAMIE LEE!
