Anoramaritza9.8· November 7, 2024Followknew that mf was gonna be insufferable when i saw he was friends with ivy wolk anyways i really wasn’t expecting this movie to be as funny as it was idk why i was expecting more of a drama but wow the dynamic with the search party really made for some of the most entertaining scenes i’ve seen all year … also igor lol heyyyy <3 yura borisov, i think i’m in love with you. and mikey madison. god mikey was truly a scene stealer (is it considered a scene stealer if she’s the titular character?) she absolutely EMBODIED this role and i loved every second of it - that final scene in the car specifically lingered with me; she conveyed so many thoughts and words with pure expressions, i felt every ounce of confusion, realization, and sorrow in that moment. i felt the frustration right along with her, especially since i genuinely couldn’t understand why someone as charismatic and alluring as her was putting in so much effort for a manchild who had evidently screwed her over … need a sequel where she gets back at that sick family gonna make this movie my personality for the next month (getting tinsels in my hair and moving to new york until i develop a brooklyn accent) also soundtrack was a 10/10CommentsSign in to react and join the conversation.Sign inGet the appSee all maritza's reviews for Anora (2)First watch9.8November 7, 2024Rewatch 19.8February 26, 2025
