Amazed at how this hypnotizes me on a 5th viewing 5 years later. Overflowing with inexpressible feeling, saturated with countless beautiful frames, all on top of it being a very potent time capsule for me. I can't help be transported back to everything I was experiencing back then and oof, what a sensation. I've seen very few films that are as in touch with the intangible pain of memory as this one. Deep yearning and regret, coupled with sensory reflection, almost always wrapped with stinging melancholy. Fully in love.
Eli was right, though, it probably won't be properly appreciated for another 40 years.
