Jaws
Jaws is one of my favorite movies of all time. Watched it with Maverick tonight… his second time watching tho… I know. But he wanted to watch it so bad haha. I kept asking if he was scared and he would say “yeah but I like it”. He was watching through his hands and it was too fun haha. When dudes would get eaten, I would cover his eyes but he would try to watch and then he’d get scared and giggle. He got out a ps2 gun controller and was shooting the shark. When the movie ended he yelled “again!!!”. He said it’s one of his favorite movies. Idk man. Mav’s kind of a movie head.
Maybe I’m a bad dad. Maybe I’ll show him some David Lynch next.
My last time I reviewed this film, it was a big deal. I realized I wasn’t enjoying movies the way I had in the past. I can truly say, that viewing experience made me love movies even more. Fun to see what’s happened in the last year and how my changed mindset has made me happier. Also I forgot how funny it was showing Mav this last time. He’s so cool!
The cinematography, magic, and story are so perfect. Honestly, will probably watch again this summer.
