BEEF
I wanted to do a proper review so here we are.
This might be one of the best Netflix things I've watched. It is is simply brilliant. Every single character is extremely flawed and nuanced with undesirable characteristics. But you still find yourself being able to relate to them and sympathise even if not severely depressed or anything yourself. Everything has deep meaning and links into this larger theme of generational issues and suppressed rage. Not to mention it balances the bleakness with it somehow being genuinely hilarious. Some of cinematography is beautiful, the music is godly and I could write a whole paragraph glazing the performances (because they are ridiculously good). And that ending is absolutely indescribably cinema.
I think I might be overexaggerating a lil but I don't care.
It's gotta be a 10/10 and it's in my top 4 shows easily. I simply can't stop thinking about it to the point I might crack a rib.
