★ Watchlist Shuffle Marathon #1 ★ I... what? I used to know there's no "too crazy", that there wasn't a limit to how much rules you can break in a film... Now I'm not so sure anymore. This is a complete fever dream. And I hate when people use that expression because they always use it with stuff that isn't actually that out there, stuff that has clear artistic intention and logic behind it. This one doesn't however. And I love it and respect it for sticking to being batshit insane. But it also kinda pains me to go through it. And there's also the fact that I absolutely despise and hate THAT subplot. I know Gregg Araki doesn't have bad intentions with it, and I understand why it's here, but I really think it could have been cut from the film or changed for another idea with the same intention. I insist, this did not need Egg's subplot. This is a film I will have to rewatch, but I think it will take me a while for it. Really weird note to end the day on. 3 down, 452 to go
