Thirteen

I never thought I would want the outfits of a film more than Heathers, but Thirteen definitively has the best drip ive seen in any film. I knew I was gonna love this, but it somehow managed to even beat my high expectations. There's a recipe for teenage angst and this film nails it better than any other could. A blurry mess of feelings and sensations of a limbo space between childhood and adulthood occupied by results of an ever-changing toxic environment. This is definitively one of those that you either get it or you don't. Probably the closest there has been to a Class of '09 film. Now if y'all excuse me, I'll go listen to Brokencyde and Millionaires while thinking if I should get a tongue piercing.
