The Thing

What a great horror movie. It’s not about some lunatic serial killer, it’s not super cheesy, and it’s not about some random group of teens getting slaughtered. It’s a sci-fi/horror film and is, in my opinion, executed absolutely perfectly. I was a bit disappointed after watching Halloween, so I’m very glad John Carpenter made this masterpiece. There are some amazing scares, the visual effects are fucking fantastic, Kurt Russell is immaculate, and overall this is one of my favorite horror movies of all time. It very well might be the greatest horror movie ever made in my humble opinion. John Carpenter is a true artist.
