95%—•—rewatched this with my sister (who watched for the first time) and she loved it and i think this held up better on my rewatch. i’m so happy that she loved the fabelmans and now babylon cause they are both films about filmmaking and if she loved it then they are good movies cause she’s my go to person for a tougher review on a film because i’m definitely way too light on some films. anyway, i’m shocked that it did cause it was 3 hours and 10 minutes long so i expected it to drag a bit, but i loved it a bit more on the rewatch. i still love the acting, score, cinematography, costumes, set design, directing, writing and editing. just everything about this is amazing and beautiful and i love the chaotic nature of this sm. makes it that much more special to me. now it’s only 95% cause i do think some of this could have gotten cut out and made shorter but i’m not complaining tbh.
