Saw
one of my favorite horror films because of structure. it’s something that starts off so simple (two guys chained in a bathroom), but slowly it begins to reveal itself which leads us to the inevitable title of the film (Saw), and the absolute shocking final twist. this is the 3rd longest film in the franchise (behind Saw X and Saw III respectively), but it’s the most tame which is what makes this stand out from the rest. my second favorite part of this is the score at the end, “Hello, Zepp” because it’s simply amazing and i’m extremely happy they decided to make this the theme of the franchise.
my journey to Saw X has officially begun and so has my spooky season watch party. follow along with my lists:
