Almost Famous

2000 | Cameron Crowe | Billy Crudup | Frances McDormand | Noah Taylor | Fairuza Balk | Philip Seymour Hoffman | Zooey Deschanel | Best Soundtracks “And you can tell Rolling Stone magazine that my last words were... I'm on drugs!” [crowd cheers] “Russell! I think we should work on those last words!” “I got it, I got it. Last words - I dig music.” [a few claps] “I’m on drugs!” [crowd cheers] I stand by everything I wrote in my original review: “Almost Famous” is a masterpiece! Superb dialogues and characters, beautiful and touching writing, fantastic pacing at a runtime of 2 hours 40 (watched the director’s cut), gorgeous cinematography, amazing atmosphere and one of the best soundtracks of all time! It belongs to the category of films that you want to live in. “I’m always home, I’m uncool.” I’m deeply in love with this film!
