Zodiac

Even with the third sighting, the film takes me just as it did the first time. In my opinion one of the best films by Fincher and also one of the best acting performances by Jake Gyllenhaal. The basement scene does what hardly a horror film can do for me, it scares me and gives me a very uncomfortable feeling. And the sentence "Mr. Graysmith, i do the posters myself." still gives me a cold shiver down my spine. I love the look of the film as well as cinematography and especially framing. Also the score/soundtrack and the sound design are just perfect and Fincher's directing style and his way of showing things is terrific in this film. The interrogation scene is probably one of the best examples of this. The way in which information that appears over the course of the term becomes important again is just great. Generally, I think the Zodiac case is one of the most exciting and interesting cases that are still unsolved.
