The Blond Boy from the Casbah
i hated every second of this. every story told, every lie repeated, every bit of propaganda. i will never feel sorry for colonizers after what they did to my grandparents and millions of Algerians.

hearing “alger, c’était l’une des plus belles villes de France” was genuinely infuriating. the audacity to romanticize colonialism as if it were some beautiful lost paradise while ignoring the people who actually suffered under it.

this wasn’t moving. it was insulting. tfou 3likoum na3al rassa ta3koum

The Blond Boy from the Casbah
