You gotta realize real quick (and I mean like five minutes in) that the fact that a music superstar decides to be penpals with a teenage fan is meant to be believable? If they had made that bit a tad less, how do I put this, stupid, I would have thought that this was a smutty romcom, minus the smut. Obviously. Let’s just call it “a campy romance,” which basically describes every other Hallmark movie
(Probably only gave it ⭐️ ⭐️ because the other movies I watched today while stuck alone in the house for the past 48 hours were crappier— the bar is so low)
