❤️‍🩹It’s slow and it felt like it dragged on at times but it’s beautiful shot and written so i can’t complain. Perfectly encapsulates the arab mother/daughter dynamic, generational traumas and some things that we don’t usually see in the media. 

Nadine labaki is as amazing as always i don’t think i even need to comment on her superb acting lol

i have been wanting to watch this film almost since it came out and saw that it was showing in zawya. it was my first film there and what a great film for a first at zawya. the film was a great mixture of warm vibes, deep deeppp emotions and great choices of music all throughout. i think this is gonna be the arabic version of ladybird for me. a film with a chill plot l, not a lot going on and mother daughter rocky relationship 🤝🏼
