Raised as a slave, Danny is used to fighting for his survival. In fact, his "master," Bart, thinks of him as a pet and goes as far as leashing him with a collar so they can make money in fight clubs, where Danny is the main contender. When Bart's crew is in a car accident, Danny escapes and meets a blind, kindhearted piano tuner who takes him in and uses music to free the fighter's long-buried heart.

What a great movie about how love can help someone in life. If you have someone to shed light and care for you in this horrible fucked up world. Very underrated film.
The fight scenes feel more real than the average marvel movie. Go Jet Li!

Jet Li beats the piss out of people in this movie and it rocks, the plot felt a little by the numbers but I wasn’t really bothered by it

You basically turned a man into a dog.”Feel like I’ve seen this before.
A rather immersive and fun movie which also includes some absolutely crazy sequences. The scenes between Jet Li and Morgan Freeman were actually quite wholesome while simultaneously somewhat corny. Sure it’s not the most well written movie ever, it’s a bit too reliant on its action set pieces and it’s not the most consistent in its pacing but definitely more than a mindless action movie as the premise is awesome on paper.
Overall, Pretty cool martial arts movie, feel like the premise could have been written better but it’s a fun, corny action movie which I’d probably recommend checking out.. don’t expect too much - just enjoy the ride.
