I watched Inside the mind of a Dog (2024) because I really wanted to. I am watching Inside the Mind of a Cat because I have a sense of fairness and I think that every side deserves to present their case.
But, honestly, I am just not a cat person. Perhaps one of the reasons for this is that I am very allergic--so, since I was a little boy, being around cats has been associated with itchy eyes, sneezing, and general misery. It is also a personality thing. I have nothing against cat people. (I love Taylor Swift). But cats are just not the domesticated animal for me.
Oddly, I love BIG cats. My Florida license plate advocates for the Florida Panther--and I love tigers (Tigger was my favorite Disney character for years), and I love lions (there is not a DOG movie in my Top 4), pumas, etc.
To be fair, I learned more from this documentary than I did from Inside the mind of a Dog (2024). This is mostly due to my knowledge starting point.
If you are a cat person, you'd like this. It may give you some insight into your feline friend. Both Inside the Mind of a Cat and Inside the Mind of a Dog are available on Netflix.
