This short cartoon can be watched here: Birds Anonymous
I am going to refer to the period from 1943 to 1958 as the Academy Award Short Subject, Saturday Morning Cartoon Period. In that time there were 5 Tom & Jerry wins, 5 WB Studio Wins (Bugs, Tweety, Pepe le Pew, Speedy Gonzalez), and 2 wins for Mr. Magoo. All of these shorts, including this one---Birds Anonymous are far short of spectacular. They are good. Entertaining. Fun. But they are all typical of the Saturday Morning Cartoons that played for YEARS before cable TV.
Birds Anonymous is a slightly higher quality short than others of the time. I was the winner for the Academy Award for Short Subject, Cartoon in 1957.
