This was both lighter and darker than the first film. They somehow made this even more ridiculous than the first and more fun. This film has more a power rangers dynamic while the first had more of a fairy tale dynamic. The costume design and production design are off the roof, they look amazing especially when they’re flying around and stuff. The fights are satisfying to watch they’re literally acrobatic flips and spins with a mix of colorful magic. There are couple of odd choices for supporting characters and I like to them as comic relief because one of them is a talentless man who follows Peach Boy and calls him master then there’s a little boy who’s a thousand year Ginseng. The ending was better than the first because I found it ridiculous. I genuinely found this movie to be entertaining and it makes well with a little kids beating up demons.
