Pure Y2K sterile sci-fi sleekness. With all the corporate and political espionage and going down the rabbit hole into bizarre conspiratorial territory that's present here, the mind calls back to the first Deus Ex. When we get to The Vault, I'm specifically reminded of the segment when we keep going deeper and deeper into Area 51, despite Cypher lacking in the grey alien aspect. Lovely stuff marred only by a mangled story that, like any classic noir, isn't exactly easy to follow. A decent entry in the post-Blade Runner world of tech-noir that really pushes its budget.
