This is exactly how a movie should be: a unique storyline, great characters, and unique scenery. I also loved the way this movie looked, it really gave me a cinema experience. This is classified as a Horror genre, but it shows that horror movies don't always have to be scary to be good. This one had a great story, which kept it interesting. I definitely had fun watching this one.

This movie is a bold mashup that works so well. I kept getting so engaged by this sweet and tender narrative about aging then I’d get shocked back to reality that there’s a horror movie plot bubbling away. The intense giallo elements on the horror side provided a lot of cover for the drama side. It was already so surreal that I was ready to accept the deep spontaneous friendship with these kids.
The ending ruled so hard. I was on the edge of my seat both saying wtf and cheering for the stupid shit. Hell yeah

Tonally confused, overly stylized, and poorly written. Not very entertaining or particular interesting. Based on the two movies I have seen from it, I can conclude that if a movie goes direct-to-Letterboxd Video Store, there is probably a pretty good reason it did not get distribution. At least this movie reminded me how good that Lady A song is.
