This is a well-shot coming of age movie with a banging soundtrack and really good kid actors, so I was shocked to see it at less than 1000 logs! It’s readily available to stream on amazon, so I don’t see why it’s not getting its flowers!
Of course I fucking looove Cloud 69 by Lowell, but all of the music is fun and definitely fits the middle school young dumb fun and yearning vibe. Erin’s Guide to Kissing Girls feels sooo middle school. It’s the good, the cringe, and the ugly (crying) that we all know well. A sweet story, perfect for pride month about friendship, crushes and growing pains. I would’ve loved to see this as a middle school baby gay. Highly recommend!
