I’m sorry but I started checking out the moment its revealed that the retired army father was having dementia/memory. I frankly disassociated at the ending because it applies coginitive issues like a steroid topical ointment onto the itch that is this film’s central mystery.

I’m sorry but I started checking out the moment its revealed that the retired army father was having dementia/memory. I frankly disassociated at the ending because it applies coginitive issues like a steroid topical ointment onto the itch that is this film’s central mystery.

it’s no small feat for a movie to please the whole family. actually a good story and good execution that doesn’t get distracted or fall flat. and the billboard that says “monkey with a gun on the loose” isn’t even being funny because actually the movie doesn’t even get into how crazy monkeys are.

but also extremely sad and is actually an interesting look at grief, memory, and trauma. :(
