on a serious note, i tried to get invested, but something felt off. i can’t exactly put my finger on it. maybe it’s the predictable script, or maybe it’s that media often expects so little from fathers compared to mothers. and that makes me so angry.
but then… the little moments rustin shared with yumi as “clyde.” chef’s kiss. so cute and so tender. and the ending???? the film needed that.
