A ridiculous and loosely written martial arts film trying to fit in with the modern day future. It gets pretty cheesy and includes some lame character backgrounds and development. This film doesn’t really know where it wants to go with its characters. They try to display the corruption of the economic industry as well as trying to explore human morality when it comes to winning and losing. It’s effective at points.
The challenges set through don’t seem that high stakes but they’re enjoyable to watch. Even the outfits they wear for the battles is kinda boring. There’s a lot of aspects to this film that aren’t good and this might be a guilty pleasure to me.But I enjoy this whole technological concept of determining who’s the best martial artist in the world thing even if it makes absolutely no sense.
