Dr. Mabuse has been locked away for years in an insane asylum. Suddenly crimes start occurring and no one knows the culprit. A detective goes to visit the Doctor to find some sort of clues to the robberies.

It has some interesting visuals and some nice changes, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the original, and the the final minutes kinda suck. Still better than the previous film, and a nice conclusion to Gert Fröbe’s Kras/Lohman, and it was cool that we finally got to see Wolfgang Preiss fully as Mabuse instead of just an identity.
