Director- Teshigahara Hiroshi.This is the second film I have seen of Teshigahara, if this can be called his work, that is. I don't consider this to be a work of any director but of Hokusai himself.The length of the short film made me not expect much from it, as nearly 23 minutes isn't enough to portray such a polished career. It did the best it could do.It gives us a pretty surface level dissection of Hokusai's career and is meant to incite curiosity within us and make us learn more about him on our own.The film is less of a biography and more of a tribute in a documentary format.
