I appreciate trying to continue the vibes of the first one but it’s really hard to make an already goofy movie with a much smaller budget. Really limited in scope and very plainly staged/shot, so knockoff Blade priest versus the worst college field study group doesn’t get any juice beyond camp and some big performances. A lot of the vampires are killed immediately after becoming vampires so the threat is pretty contained.
