Sank by the performances and weirdly seems like the director just saw the poster for the first one and not the actual movie. Very Batman Forever lighting. Bugs snatching victims is kind of fun but when you actually see them they look very janky (except in the end when you get the only redeeming part of the movie). It’s tough to build on the semi-hard sci-fi of the original, so it makes sense they just made an urban creature feature.
