Watched it for school. Or work? Watched it for my job, which is at a school.
Better than the first one but hangs together in the same shaggy way. I wish there were a greater sense of structure or direction to the narratives, as both are merely a series of documentary vignettes added together that test the boundaries of their eponymous theme. These should be road trip documentaries. Say what you will about Bill Maher or Michael Moore, but a witty and acerbic figure can be the perfect glue for a polemic like this. Witty and acerbic, Michael Pollan is not.
There is also an unfortunate softness to Cory Booker (featured in the film) that will forever stymie his Presidential aspirations, I'm afraid.
