The filmmaker’s mother played for a women’s tackle football team in the late 70’s and naturally made a documentary about it. Such an interesting look at the early years of women’s tackle football during a time when it was either frowned upon or not taken serious. Definitely an outlier to the state of women’s football today which has grown but not to where it could be. Loved seeing the team get back together it just bursted with heart and nostalgia.
