• I accidentally watched the sequel to this called “El enamorado” before this one. Now that I’ve seen both, I can say that I enjoyed the sequel more than this one. “El enamorado” takes place after Martin and Rosario get married and this one takes place when they first meet. Eh, I wasn’t too interested in seeing the back and forth “conflicted feelings” kinda thing that the two do especially when I know they’re gonna be together in the next movie. This was useful to understand the sequel but that’s about it.
• This is the last Pedro Infante movie with English subtitles on Tubi so after this I either have to keep looking online or give up and watch his other movies without subtitles. I don’t want to have to annoy my mom by making her watch and translate all his movies for me but if it comes to that I might not have a choice! Matter of fact, it’ll be revenge for not teaching me Spanish when I was younger!
