A very well-done and genuinely fascinating documentary. As someone who loves erotic thrillers, film noir, and gothic romance, I was impressed by the sheer number of films featured here.
It also hit me with a wave of nostalgia. I used to watch so many of these films late at night on the Golden channels (very iconic if you’re from Mexico City/LATAM lmao). And thanks to this, I was reminded of Red Shoe Diaries, the origin of my crush on David Duchovny 😏🩷
