What's good about this is the animation. Different sections tackled by differing groups & individuals. The styles are diverse and despite - in some cases - changing part way through sections, they blend together nicely. This is their film. A showcase of artists and their talent.
As for the Python element, its incredible Chapman made these voice recordings. I'd love to know the circumstances in which they were created back in the mid 80s. The 'narrative' is non existant. It's the tale of a largely false version of his life that's fleshed out by the remaining pythons. Sketches and moments are appropriately zany, but largely unfunny and flat.
