"I Want To Be Neenja the Movie" is a marvel of film making prowess. Never have I ever seen so much glazing for something this bad. Jennifer "GoGirl" Murphy has been hyping this "innovative" film as something to behold in the history of film and the progression of the medium. It was such a mess that had no real cohesion, so much so that it felt like a series of random clips strewn together.
I watched the premier live with my friends on YouTube and the actors and audience spoke so highly of the film. They spoke as if it will change film forever and the Jennifer was a messiah of sorts. There was even a point in the now lost to time premier where a man somehow got a microphone and told her what a wonderful thing she's done for our society releasing this.
For a while there, with all the delays, I thought it was a scam. I thought this THING seriously did not exist. first it was slated for months at a time, then eventually was moved to April, then May, then I saw it... "June 1." I got so excited... June 1 comes around... "June 7." June 7 came around and the premier happened live, though no word AT ALL was given on the whereabouts of this missing "masterpiece." Over two weeks later, I finally get an email giving me my access link to a private Vimeo upload, and there it is...
I wish it was a scam
Also the twist in chapter 3 was insane! So, +1/2 star
