Turns out I’m just a big Charlton Heston fan. Not sure if it’s because I associate him with Troy McClure, but either way I’ve enjoyed every movie I’ve seen him in.
This is also surprisingly breezy for a 70s movie. The disaster is exciting and scary in a way that modern CGI disaster movies can never quite capture. This truly has earned its place as a giant poster in a burger restaurant in Universal Studios.
