Turns out I’m just a big Charlton Heston fan. Not sure if it’s because I associate him with Troy McClure, but either way I’ve enjoyed every movie I’ve seen him in. 

This is also surprisingly breezy for a 70s movie. The disaster is exciting and scary in a way that modern CGI disaster movies can never quite capture. This truly has earned its place as a giant poster in a burger restaurant in Universal Studios.

Kind of fun, kind of boring. Effects stuff is good once it gets going and the subplots are all weird and interesting.

Man they don’t make them like this anymore! Extremely well done disaster sequences done practically, and the runtime is no problem at all as it flows real well. And I love how Walter Matthau makes the most out of his small role

We are the same age! It was alright. I’d like to see how they made it. Pretty good effects for 1974! The lady in blue by the elevator was EPIC!
