The collective that I’m with (IMA Festival) had the opportunity to show off this film to a bunch of emerging/established filmmakers. I had no idea what the plot was, the synopsis was a bit vague on the details so I’m sure most of us in the cinema were not sure what to expect.
I honestly think more short films should be like this. Embody the genre for what it is, be straight to the point, make it understandable why it’s a short film, etc.
My only drawback I guess was that the ending was kinda predictable, but it was also a surprise to see how they executed it.
