I will have to watch the rest of the films in this set because I had no idea who Paul Robeson was but I had heard his singing several times before. He is truly an embodiment of the American spirit in a way that few others can ever hope to come close to being. I am not surprised that he was nearly erased from history. I am ashamed that he was and ashamed of my ignorance of a man who was so influential across the entertainment industry and the fight for equality

A great short doc about an often times forgotten figure of civil rights and a monumental black actor and singer, who was a giant star but is often erased from history. Check it out!
