i have a love-hate situation going on with this franchise right now.
this is yet another pointless entry that basically just rehashes the first film and offers little to nothing new. i thought we would inch closer to the conclusion, but we just circle around the same information we’ve already learned thus far. this felt like they just needed to fulfill the ‘promise’ of seeing another vlogger investigating gary’s case. the second one has suuuuuch a good set up, but yet again, they dropped the ball and threw that all away. crazy… oscar was a really fun character to follow, though! hoping the 4th one can deliver!
ALSO. MISLEADING AS FUCK TITLE. PISSES ME OFFFFFFFFFF. i was soooooooo excited to finally see a firewatch concept in a horror movie instead of just a game!!!!!
