I don't get the low scores on Internet sites for this independent film from Argentina. I liked it and thought it was interesting and suspenseful.
Viggo Mortensen plays Agustin / Pedro, identical twins. After Pedro dies, Agustin takes on the life of his bee keeping criminal brother. But taking on this life of crime has deeper repurcutions than he figures.
Viggo for me is very hit and miss but I liked him in this. The rest of the cast, all be it only a handful, seem to be play their roles well enough.
The locations of the river community where the brothers grew up is uniquely beautiful in its own way. cinematography is pretty and aids the the story well.
There are one or two points that the film touched on but didn't play out but I've seen a lot worse in big budget productions.
