Okay I saw this at a sneak night in the cinema and honestly I was disappointed!! I’m never usually a fan of comedy movies and this sure as hell proved why 😔 I just don’t think it’s funny!!!!

I mean, it definitely wasn’t the worst movie I’ve ever seen, and lowkey maybe it’s absolutely hilarious to French people considering it’s French, but to me it was just so predictable and kinda boring. The jokes didn’t land, the pacing felt weird, and I just sat there like 😐 waiting for something exciting to happen. Not my thing at all.

Saw this at my local cinema at a ‘sneak night’ before it releases for real. It’s charming and it’s a solid story. It stays at one pace and doesn’t slow down or accelerate at all. 
Actors are great, I enjoyed it for what it is.

Don’t be intimidated by the French language. It’s a fun, heartwarming story that isn’t too complicated to follow with subtitles. Haven’t heard an audience laugh this loud in a long time. Was a sneak preview.
