Full disclosure; I was tryna rent Cherrybomb starring robbie sheehan and rupert grint but the video store only had region 2 so 🤷🏻♀️ this looked like a fun runner up.
In the beginning there was a stripper that looked like she had robot arms and i got excited that this was secretly an alternate future/dystopian setting but it turned out to be a puffy jacket.
Obviously this movie is no budget/horrible acting/editing mess but I like that she is never ashamed of being a sex worker. She gets raped and the patriarchy tries to keep her down. Tale as old as time. Then she slaps on a cheap wig and systematically kills all of her assailants, which is never not going to be a win for me.
I loved the part where she’s killing someone with a nail gun and he screams “stop nailing me.”
