I didn't expect a lot on this movie cause I'm a horror movie enjoyer and it turn out not what i expected. I expected not so good plot but damn this is a masterpiece but still not a top 10 for me and specially i expected "ah eto na baliw nga siya and stuff" turn into "whoa so every little detail really do have a purpose and stuff" love it same sa mga gusto kong movie thing na sa huli nababaliw lang pala sila same with sutter island and more....

don’t let the ugly ass poster with that font fool you! 

this is a rather fresh breath of air for me in the asian horror genre this decade. in fact it’s a improvement in comparison of a lot of asian horror movies basically are doing the same thing over and over again this decade, which isn’t a bad thing when done well but it’s getting fucking boring 😡😡🤬🤬

anyways, the cinematography, the colours and my god, practical sets were AMAZING. i was so fixated on the warmth of it all!! literally within the first 10 mins, the scene of luna looking up at the statue and the sky as the backdrop, that was so insanely beautiful i almost peed my pants. (and speaking of luna, wonderful acting from the actress who played her!) 

however, the story lacked a little something. i expected more of a commentary/cult like horror about the rich and poor, like some aspects worked out but i wished that they went a little more deeper into luna’s character and her personal desires and some jumpscares could have been left out too 

to conclude my review, it’s a great attempt, but it misses something to make it an 4 star movie. great for a midnight watch though!
