always electrifies my entire brain whenever something uses so many different mediums, it’s insane seeing live action play with 2d animation play with play-doh play with paintings. there’s a kind of fluidity with its style that creates a beautiful dream state; sequences would either feel creepy or peaceful, or clear or incomprehensible, or sometimes all of these at the same time and it feels like you’re floating, or stuck in between blankets and blankets.
it’s a short dead set on never feeling like it could be put in reality and because of that, every sequence is different from each other and it’s so awesome. also the slow realization that i was looking at a real fursuit and not a stop motion puppet made me giddy ngl….woohohohoho
