Bougainvillea had a lot of potential, but fell very short. It was slow to start, then began ramping up in speed as more details were uncovered. I really liked that since Reethu had amnesia it was hard to trust what she saw and told the police. Unfortunately, the plot became very predictable, which made the film a bit boring despite the action, and the ending was anticlimactic and a little cheesy. All in all, there were some pretty shots and nice cinematography but not worth watching the film for.
