This was nice and light-hearted. The title, a pun on the location of the film, implies a different tone, I feel, but the film’s humor - while still feeling rather regional - lands nicely. Like, I don’t typically care for those sorts of “we can’t say that anymore” jokes that are all about tiptoeing around “wokeness”, persay, but given that this is France and France has a really stupid relationship with political correctness it comes off as cloyingly charming. It’s a buddy cop film that isn’t aiming too high and is competently made.
All the one and two star reviews on this clearly just haven’t seen true trash
