The scene where he tries to unwrap his parents’ face and it didn’t work hit me with a pang- one of the biggest things I fear is forgetting a person’s face after they die
For me I understood this as a story of growing up and the different phases one goes through when dealing with the eventual death of one’s parents. I don’t ever want to experience having to deal with a parent’s death, the feeling of that grief this movie portrayed was already too much for me 🙂
