A brutal look at the “dark” NYC milieu, Morrissey divided his film in 2, firstly using the urban landscape with fast dialogues then followed by his US avant-garde roots, admittedly well acted, we are embarked on a highly profane & offensive journey that seems too obsessed with itself but ultimately it achieves its goal in capturing & portraying the grimy side of “the big apple”. Interesting but not impressive.
