it’s my favorite girl ever’s birthday !!
i’ve been obsessed with olivia since 2019 when hsmtmts came out and olivia was only SIXTEEN and i was TWELVE.
i remember when drivers license came out and i listened to it on repeat every. single. night. i’m actually pretty sure i cried when i first listened to it because it meant so much to me
and when sour came out i related to every song even though i was only like thirteen/fourteen because she was the first singer i listened to that was not much older than me writing songs about things everyone goes through and it just spoke to me
then two and a half years later she came out with guts, which surprisingly i loved even more than sour because i somehow related to it EVEN MORE. like this album is so perfect to me and i adore it sm.
i literally listen to olivia every single day. i never thought someone could pass taylor swift as my favorite artist but her (OG!) daughter miss olivia did!
olivia’s songs have gotten me through some tough times. i’ve spent hours and hours crying to her songs but it somehow also always made me feel better knowing i wasn’t alone
i make hundreds of playlists and i think i have three separate olivia rodrigo playlists (one of all of her songs, one for sour, and one for guts) and i think there’s atleast like four songs of hers in all of my other playlists (including my favorite songs playlist obviously)
i went to a conan gray concert (which was AWESOME btw) and i wore and olivia rodrigo shirt (bc besties obv) and my mom replied to my story asking why i was wearing a shirt of myself and i’ve never shut up about it. i’ve actually had so many people say i look like her and it’s genuinely the biggest compliment ever
also like she’s literally me?! not just through her songs but like we’re both named olivia?! we both have brown hair & brown eyes (main reason why ppl say we look alike). and also my middle name is rose and olivia’s last name is rodrigo, so both of our initials are OR. like c’mon we’re the same person
unfortunately even though i love olivia sm, i’ve never been able to go to one of her concerts 💔 they were always too expensive or i just wasn’t able to go. i will always mourn not going to either tour but you BEST BELIEVE i will be at the next one
